Throughout Tyrol and South Tyrol, the numerous rustic huts along the trails invite you to enjoy typical local snacks amidst the breathtaking mountain scenery.
Road cycling, pleasure cycling, and mountain biking in Tyrol
Road cyclists can set off directly from our active hotel via the Brenner federal road on a beautiful and winding route into Tyrolean Oberland and Tyrolean Unterland around Innsbruck. Heading in the other direction, towards South Tyrol, ambitious cyclists will encounter the most breathtaking Alpine passes – no wonder the renowned Ötztal Cycling Marathon traverses Wipptal. For those who prefer a leisurely pedal, we have a very special treat in store: following the Inntal cycle path, you’ll reach Wipptal via the Innsbruck holiday villages of Igls and Patsch, journeying along the old Roman road to the Brenner Pass. Here you can enjoy magnificent views of the Tyrolean mountains. We also recommend the Val Isarco/Eisacktal cycle path: one of the most stunning, modern, and safest cycling routes in the entire Alpine region. It leads through Sterzing and Brixen, ultimately reaching Bolzano.
